We do not ask for your name, phone number or email. We do not sell your details to colleges or to anyone else. There is no version of this app that does.
That is not a promise we can quietly drop later. Selling student contact details to colleges is how every large site in this category makes its money, and it is the specific thing Nowlledge exists not to do.

Deadline reminders are scheduled on your own phone and fire from there, which is why they work with no internet. Nothing is sent to a server to make them happen, and we do not collect a notification token or any device identifier.
The app declines these Android permissions outright, so they cannot be
requested by mistake in a future update:
READ_CONTACTS, READ_PHONE_STATE,
ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION.
No one. Specifically:
Your data is stored by Google Firebase, which processes it on our behalf and cannot use it for its own purposes. Nobody else touches it.
Fees, dates and eligibility are read from colleges’ and exam boards’ own official websites. Every figure in the app carries the link it came from and the date it was checked — tap any of them to see the source.
If something cannot be confirmed from an official page, the app shows nothing rather than a guess. If you spot a mistake, tap This looks wrong and we will re-read the source.
Your data stays while you use the app. To erase it, open You → Delete my data. That removes your profile, your tracked colleges, your history and your reminders from our servers. It cannot be undone, and we keep no backup copy of it.
You can also write to thelayoutoffice@gmail.com and we will delete it for you.
Nowlledge is for students applying to college and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from them. Because we never ask for a name, phone number or email, we hold nothing that identifies a child.
If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect or who we share it with, we will say so in the app before the change takes effect.
